Anna, born and raised in Bavaria / Germany, has always led an active lifestyle with a big thirst for exploring, learning and adventure. As a child, the Alps were her playground, hiking in the mountains and being in nature always a part of her life. After working and living a corporate lifestyle for many years in Munich, the sense of a more balanced life and “Fernweh” called.
In 2014, she swapped her desk for a backpack and travelled the world for one year. While in Goa, she stepped on a yoga mat for the first time and fell in love with the practice: from the challenge of the poses, the expansion of her physical and mental comfort zone to the deep sense of calmness and balance the practice has to offer.
Ever since Yoga has been not just a practice, but a lifestyle and she has practised with teachers around the world, from India, Sri Lanka, Germany, New Zealand to Australia, before completing her formal training in 2018 with Power Living in Sydney.
Always a student, she has continued her studies in yoga, philosophy, anatomy and holistic fitness ever since, currently specialising as women’s health and fitness coach.
As a qualified holistic Personal Trainer she is committed to providing intelligently sequenced classes that are inclusive, build strength, resilience and promote injury prevention. Her energetic and outgoing personality adds a lightness to the class and creates a powerful experience for her students - from beginners to experienced yogis and all stages of life. Anna loves to share a holistic yoga practice, leaving you feeling balanced and grounded for your everyday life adventure. She also loves offering nurturing Yin practices to rest, reset and meet yourself where you are.
Off the mat you can find her mostly outdoors hiking, SUP paddling and surf skiing, riding her motorbike, cycling, indulging in finish saunas or cooking delicious, nurturing food.
Anna can’t wait to meet you on the mat and share a cuppa and chat after class in the beautiful studio.
