Booking Information

Bookings are essential in order to secure your spot. Please keep in mind, we cannot guarantee you will get a spot if you show up without a booking. 

Out of respect for your fellow students and teacher, please arrive at least 5 minutes before your class begins - this will allow you time to set up your yoga mat and settle before the class starts.

We do lock our door at the base of the stairs for security. If you find the gate locked on your arrival, it means there is a yoga class in progress.

By booking into a class you automatically agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below.

Please bring a yoga mat for Yoga classes. We have a limited number of mats and cannot guarantee there will be one available.

Class Booking and Cancellation Policy 

The cancellation and booking policy is in place to ensure everyone has a fair chance to attend.  

  • Booking opens at 5am, 7 days prior to class.

  • Our system will allow unlimited yoga bookings per day.

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your class as late entry is strictly not permitted, 2 minutes late is too late. For security reasons, the door to the studio will be locked at the beginning of each class. Please check in at reception before entering studios.

  • Alma Yoga has a 1 hour cancellation window, if you are not able to attend your booking please cancel at least 1 hour prior to your class start time. We understand that life can be unpredictable which is why our 1 hour window is in place to give you time to make changes to your booking.

  • All class cancellations must be made via your Account (Schedule) either online or via the app. We do not accept class cancellations via email or phone call, unless you are experiencing technical difficulties, in which case please contact Alex 0404 682 860 or Martina 0405 905 006.

  • Late cancellation and/or no-show: if you simply do not show for your booking you will be automatically charged the full class rate for Drop-in and deducted a class off your 10 Class Passes. Members will be charged $5 on your membership .

  • Bookings cannot be accepted without a credit card on file.

  • This policy applies to all yoga classes.

    Waitlist Policy – Please treat the waitlist like you are booking a class.

    MINDBODY waitlist function allows you to waitlist a spot in an already full class. When a spot in the class becomes available, the first person on the waitlist will be automatically moved into the class outside of the 1 hour booking window. Spaces that are cancelled inside of the 1 hour cancellation window will be charged the usual late fee and the space will be made available for anyone to book online. You will not be automatically enrolled from the waitlist into class inside the 1 hour cancellation window but are free to book any spots that become available during this period.

    In order to utilise the waitlist function you must have your ’Schedule Updates’ text and email notifications turned on. You will receive both an email and an SMS when you are booked into a class via the waitlist. From this notification you can confirm or cancel the booking. To cancel your booking you need to respond ‘N’ more than 45 minutes before the start of class to avoid the late cancellation or no-show charge. Please note, if you don’t confirm the booking the system will still consider you booked into the class as the spot is held for you. If you do not confirm your booking and do not show up for class you will be charged the no-show fee and the space will be available to walk-ins as per our Cancellation Policy. 

    Please be mindful of this when booking the waitlist for early morning classes as it is possible you will be automatically enrolled into a class during the night up until 45 minutes before the start of class!

    Please treat the waitlist like you are booking a class. If you have added yourself to the waitlist and longer want to attend the class, please cancel the waitlisted classes via your Account (Account Schedule).

Membership and Pass Terms and Conditions 

10 Class Pass: Gives you access to 10 classes. Valid for 6 months from purchase date. This pass is non-refundable and non-transferable. No extensions or suspensions available. You can nominate 1 family member or friend to share your 10 Class Pass with. A maximum 2 people can share a  10 Class Pass. Please have your friend/family member register online and then contact Alex or Martina with the details so we can process package sharing on your pass. It is the responsibility of the class pass member to let us know of any changes to pass sharing relationships. 

Introductory Pass: For new students only – strictly 1 Intro Pass per person. Valid for 21 days from your first class booking, not purchase date. You have 12 months to activate your pass. No suspensions or extensions available. Please choose your Intro Pass carefully as you can only purchase one pass. 

Fortnightly Membership (Direct Debit): Please read these contract details.

  • Direct Debit Memberships involve fortnightly deductions from a nominated credit card or bank account. There is a 3 month minimum sign up period. Payments are auto scheduled and will run automatically every fortnight.

  • For suspensions and terminations, we require a two-week (14 days) written notice prior to your next billing date. Suspensions are possible in two week blocks to stay in sync with your fortnightly debits and maximum period of suspension is two weeks within your 3 month contract.

  • Direct Debit Memberships terminated before the 3 month contract is fulfilled will incur a fee of $100.

  • We do not accept AMEX.

  • Payment will show as Ezidebit Australia on your statement.

  • Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Your final payment will be a full fortnightly payment.

  • Payments will continue until further notice from you.

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Alma Yoga Suite 4 /44a Avenue Road Mosman NSW 2088 or email to hello@almayoga.com.au. You won’t be able to select your cancellation date immediately as we require 14 days notice before your next scheduled membership payment to process the request. Any membership payments during this notice period are non-refundable.

  • Once you have submitted your cancellation request, you will receive an email notification that it has been accepted. If you do not receive this request within 7 days of your cancellation request please contact us.  

  • It is the responsibility of the member to cancel their membership. Non-attendance does not warrant a refund on membership payments. Memberships will not automatically cancel due to non-attendance.

  • Suspensions must be requested in writing via email - hello@almayoga.com.au, with your start and end date.

  • If you have a membership payment scheduled during this notice period – the payment will be processed and cannot be reversed. 

  • The minimum suspension period is 14 days within your 3 month contract. 

  • Days that have been paid for will be made available for use at the end of the suspension. 

  • Memberships will not automatically be placed on suspension due to non-attendance.

Memberships - Paid In Full In Advance

Memberships need to have satisfied the minimum contract period prior to being cancelled. We require 14 days written notice via email at hello@almayoga.com.au to cancel once you have completed your contract period. You will be charged as normal and able to use all Alma Yoga facilities inline with your membership during this period.

Early termination of contracts will incur a 50% payment for the remaining term on the membership.

If you are unable to attend Alma Yoga due to serious illness or injury we may suspend longer or cancel without penalty with the supply of a detailed doctors certificate.

Membership can also be cancelled if you relocate to an area more than 12 kilometres from the Alma Yoga studio but you must show us a letter from your real estate agent or advice from Australia Post.

Memberships can be transferred to another person within the minimum term of your agreement so long as the transferee: is not a current member, and has not been a member for at least 3 months.

3 Month Membership - Paid In Advance ($455 , equates to $35 p/w)

  • Studio Membership Payment is debited from your credit card or nominated bank account. We do not except AMEX. The payment will show as Ezidebit Australia on your statement.

  • You can book classes under your membership from your selected start date.

  • Payments are non-refundable.

  • This membership allows unlimited access to all our classes for 3 months.

  • 10% discount off all workshops.

  • Suspension: the minimum period for suspension is one week and the maximum period is 2 weeks. We are unable to backdate suspensions or place the membership on hold without a return date.

  • Membership can be paused for 14 days consecutively / total of 2 x 14 days over the duration of the 6 months membership.

6 Month Membership - Paid In Advance ($860, equates to $33 p/w)

  • Studio Membership Payment is debited from your credit card or nominated bank account. We do not except AMEX. The payment will show as Ezidebit Australia on your statement.

  • You can book classes under your membership from your selected start date.

  • Payments are non-refundable.

  • This membership allows unlimited access to all our classes for 6 months.

  • 10% discount off all workshops.

  • Suspension: we require a one-week written notice. The minimum period for suspension is one week and the maximum period is 2 weeks. We are unable to backdate suspensions or place the membership on hold without a return date.

  • Membership can be paused for 14 days consecutively / total of 2 x 14 days over the duration of the 6 months membership.

Annual Membership - Paid In Advance ($1,700, equates $32.50 p/w)

  • Studio Membership Payment is debited from your credit card or nominated bank account. We do not except AMEX. The payment will show as Ezidebit Australia on your statement.

  • You can book classes under your membership from your selected start date.

  • This membership allows unlimited access to all our classes for 12 months.

  • 15% discount off all workshops.

  • Annual Memberships are non-refundable.

  • 12 months memberships cannot be suspended.

Holiday Specials

  • Advertised offers on the offical Alma Yoga website are the true and final offer that Alma Yoga is offering.

  • Date of offers listed on the webpage and cannot be extended. 2024 Holiday specials close on 31st December 2024.

  • One offer per person.

  • Holiday Specials cannot be refunded but can be transferred to another person.

Alma Yoga Workshops Cancellation & Refund Policy 

There is no refund or credit for cancellations within 48 hours of the beginning of a workshop for any reason. You can transfer your workshop booking to a friend, please contact the studio to arrange.

Guest Teacher Workshops Cancellation & Refund Policy

Guest Teachers may have their own cancellation terms, of which they will advise you separately.

The terms outlined below act as a general rule but our guest teachers reserve the right to charge in addition to these:

  • 10% of the course fee is non-refundable 14 days or more before the beginning of the training or workshop.

  • 50% of the course fee is non-refundable 13 days before the beginning of the training or workshop.

  • There is no refund for cancellations within 48 hours of the beginning of a workshop.

  • If you purchase a pass for multiple workshops and cannot attend part or all of the sessions, no refund is available for the unused portion.

Alma Yoga and/or Guest Teachers reserve the right to cancel any course without notice. In this instance a full refund will be given.

Variations

We may sometimes add to change our terms and conditions. This includes changing class times, schedules, teachers, opening and closing hours, our services and facilities and membership fees and pricing policies. We do not automatically reduce your membership fees or extend passes because of the above reasons or if your preferred studio is closed for renovations or because of a reduced schedule during holiday periods.
