Melinda began practicing yoga at a young age which was inspired by family and a love for dancing. She returned to practicing yoga in 2018 while working in the mental health sector to create a balanced lifestyle and to support her mental health during times of anxiety and stress.

Melinda loves the sense of calmness, embodiment, creativity, and connectedness that comes from the practice of yoga and moving with the breath. With a passion to teach yoga to others on a similar journey and a belief that the powerful benefits of yoga should be accessible to all people, she completed 200 hours of trauma-informed yoga training with the Yoga Impact Charity.

Melinda has since gone on to study and teach Chair Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Corporate yoga, and SUP Yoga. Melinda's teachings offer inclusivity, fluidity, expression and the opportunity to embed challenge and playfulness.
